R-Studio for Mac recovers files from HFS/HFS+ (Macintosh), FAT/NTFS/ReFS (Windows), UFS1/UFS2 (FreeBSD/OpenBSD/NetBSD/Solaris) and Ext2/Ext3/Ext4FS (Linux) partitions. It also recovers data on disks, even if their partitions are formatted, damaged or deleted. Flexible parameter settings give you absolute control over data recovery.
Files and file systems structures (NTFS/FAT boot sectors, MFT file record, MBR, LDM structures, etc) can be viewed and edited in the professional disk hex editor. In addition to byte to byte copy of any object visible in the Drives panel, smart copy of partitions and hard drives with size and offset adjustment is available. Reverse RAIDS support enables the user to decompose a real disk object into a virtual RAID. Now R-Studio displays S.M.A.R.T. attributes for hard drives to show their hardware health and predict their possible failures. Additional file recovery algorithm increases the quality of file recovery and recovers files not recognized in file system metadata.
